CASE STUDY:

University Circle’s commitment to LEED® for Existing Buildings is a product of their clear understanding of the many benefits that LEED® EB: O&M offers the Property and its tenants.

Green Concepts helped University Circle in achieving LEED® EB: O&M Gold Certification early 2010. Green Concepts worked with University Circle’s Management, vendors and tenants to reduce environmental impacts and to enhance the quality of the workplace. We developed an ongoing sustainability plan for the property to ensure that the intent and requirements of LEED® EB: O&M are implemented and improved.

Green Concepts identified significant cost savings for University Circle as well as opportunities to reduce the environmental impacts of their building operations. As a result of Green Concept’s low-cost and no cost improvements, University Circle was able to improve their energy efficiency, raising their Energy Star® rating. Green Concepts renewed focus on green cleaning, recycling, sustainable purchasing and tenant health and satisfaction.
