RAJ VISHWANATH, MS, REA

Project Executive

Years of Experience: 25+

Raj Vishwanath has a Master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. At UCLA, Raj Vishwanath was a Teaching Assistant for a graduate class in Environmental Sciences. He was awarded a scholarship for outstanding academic performance. His graduate advisor was Professor Mohammed G. Mustafa, a renowned scholar in the field of pulmonary toxicology and air pollution. Under his guidance, Raj Vishwanath, has prepared several research documents and proposals while at UCLA .

Raj Vishwanath has over seventeen years of experience in the environmental and civil engineering field, Mr. Vishwanath has performed Environmental Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessments /Audits and Construction Management Projects throughout United States for major lending institutes, investment firms and real estate developers. He has also performed asbestos, radon gas, lead paint, and domestic water sampling.

Mr. Vishwanath’s experience also includes Environmental Heath & Safety oversight for a large plastics manufacturing facility. As a result Mr. Vishwanath has vast knowledge of many intricate manufacturing procedures and provides a keen insight from a due diligence perspective into complex industrial properties and chemical / organic pollutants.

Mr. Vishwanath has successfully managed single and multi‐site due diligence projects encompassing a broad range of property types including, office, retail, industrial, hospitality, assisted living and special use. He has interfaced directly with bank loan officers, regulatory agencies, environmental analysts, real estate developers, Civil Engineering and Architectural Design and Development firms, City and County Officials, and numerous borrowers
on subjects including environmental compliance, property condition, building systems, value engineering and liability as well as contracting and scope of work issues.

VARUN CHANDRA, LEED AP, CEM, CEA

Varun is an experienced and multi-faceted LEED Accredited Professional and is actively involved in sustainable building design, construction and due diligence. As VP Sustainability Services, Varun oversees the development and implementation of our LEED project management, energy and water efficiency investigations and sustainable
process development services. He is currently the working on several active LEED projects, several Energy Star certifications, energy audits and capital improvement plans.

In the past, Varun has been responsible for overseeing the construction of LEED certified projects in Texas and a multi-specialty hospital in Southern India. He also led a team of architects and engineers that developed design and construction standards for the US Air Force residential facilities as a part of the Dormitory and Family Housing Master Plans. He was involved with the development of educational adequacy, due diligence, environmental quality standards for several school districts, universities and hospitals. He was responsible for the development of 10-year facilities master plans for the 3.2 million square feet Methodist Hospital Campus at the Texas Medical Center in Houston and the 1.2 million square feet Children’s Hospital of Boston Campus.
